Our approach

Develop. Align. Transform.

Lasting results come from working at three levels at once — the leader, the team, and the organization.

01

Develop the Leader

Executive coaching that builds clarity, confidence, executive presence, and leadership effectiveness.

02

Align the Team

Leadership team facilitation that strengthens trust, communication, accountability, and strategic alignment.

03

Transform the Organization

Strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, and change leadership that create sustainable business results.

How we help

Consulting, coaching & training

Change Management Partners works with Fortune 500 companies, regional firms, and leadership teams at every level and in every function — engineering, manufacturing, sales, HR, and beyond.

Our approach is built on one belief: the key to accelerating change is the engagement and alignment of leaders. Everything we do focuses on closing the gap between where your organization is and where it needs to be.

01
Consulting
Clarifying the vision with your top stakeholders — and building them into a high-performing leadership team.

Consulting works with your stakeholders to clarify the vision — the big picture of where the organization is going.

1
Meet with the top stakeholders to clarify the vision.
2
Build that group into a high-performing team through teaming — so they can roll out the vision and lead the change.
We always start by building the leadership team first, around the clarified vision. Once they're aligned and operating as a high-performing team, we know we can move that change through the rest of the organization. Through these early teaming sessions with the top team, we gain their commitment and clearly define roles and responsibilities as we move through the change process.

02
Coaching
Aligning and empowering your leaders — individually and collectively — to advocate for the vision.

Coaching aligns your leaders with the vision — working with them individually and collectively on what it takes to line up behind it.

1
Our first goal is to keep the leadership team aligned, empowered to lead, and advocating for the vision.
2
With their help, we identify other key leaders across the organization who also need coaching to line up with the vision and be empowered to lead.
We identify gaps using key tools — EQ, Myers-Briggs, TKI, and 360 reviews, among others — to build leadership strength individually and collectively.
Coaching philosophy

I believe transformation begins with leadership. Organizations do not transform because of a new strategy, process, or organizational chart — they transform when leaders think differently, build trust, align people around a shared purpose, and create an environment where individuals and teams can thrive.

As an Executive Coach and Leadership Advisor, my role is not to provide answers — it is to ask the questions that help leaders think differently, discover new possibilities, and make decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

Leadership is a journey of transformation. My passion is helping leaders realize their full potential so they can inspire others, strengthen their organizations, and create results that endure.

Training
Customized cohorts that give your organization the tools, techniques, and language for change.

Training provides the tools, techniques, and language necessary for managing change across the entire organization.

After meeting with the leadership teams, we customize the training your organization needs to get aligned with the vision. We have proven cohorts we've used in many places — but we're not one size fits all. We customize to whatever your organization needs to flourish, focusing on the specific tools, techniques, and language necessary for change.

The CMP difference

Training teaches. Our system changes behavior.

Most training programs are forgotten within two weeks. Not because the content isn't good — because nothing bridges the classroom and Monday morning. We built that bridge.

1
Pre-cohort baseline survey
Measures self-awareness, communication, team effectiveness, and leadership confidence before Session 1.
2
10 sessions over 20–26 weeks
One proven tool per session — applied immediately to real situations.
3
Weekly reinforcement between sessions
Monday nudges, Friday check-ins, and situation-triggered coaching. The tools stay live all week.
4
Post-cohort survey and proof of impact
Side-by-side data showing exactly where leaders started and where they are now.
The CMP platform
CMP Trainee Hub
Each leader's personal dashboard — their tools, progress, weekly nudges, a reflection journal, and a "Right Now" feature that surfaces the right tool for any challenge they're facing today.
Participant-facing
CMP Facilitator Hub
The facilitator's command center — real-time engagement data, broadcast messaging, content uploads, pre/post survey results, and full cohort oversight across every program.
Facilitator-facing
Think of it as the Duolingo for leadership — tools learned in the room, practiced every day, tracked all the way to results.

Julie Schell is an Executive Coach, Leadership Advisor, and Founder & President of Change Management Partners, Inc. She partners with CEOs, senior executives, physicians, and leadership teams to strengthen leadership capability, align organizations, and guide meaningful transformation that delivers lasting business results.

Known for creating a confidential, trusting environment where leaders can think more clearly and lead more effectively, Julie serves as a strategic thought partner to executives navigating organizational change, leadership transitions, team dynamics, and complex business challenges. She helps leaders gain perspective, challenge assumptions, build stronger relationships, and lead with greater confidence, authenticity, and impact.

Julie’s work integrates executive coaching, leadership development, strategic planning, leadership team effectiveness, organizational alignment, and change leadership. Whether coaching an individual executive or partnering with an entire leadership team, her focus remains constant: developing leaders who create healthy, high-performing organizations.

Julie’s professional foundation was built during twenty-one years with General Motors, where she became known for designing and facilitating large-scale workshops, leadership development programs, and change management initiatives that helped leaders solve complex business challenges, build alignment, and implement organizational transformation. As part of the GM University faculty, she designed and delivered change management and leadership development programs that equipped leaders with the skills and mindset needed to successfully lead organizational transformation.

Beginning with Value Engineering and later leading Total Quality Management initiatives, Julie partnered with leaders across Engineering, Manufacturing, Human Resources, and Quality to improve collaboration, strengthen processes, and support customer-focused business performance. Working with leaders at every level — including the highly successful Full-Size Truck Team — she developed a deep understanding of how leadership, organizational systems, and culture influence organizational success.

In 2005, Julie founded Change Management Partners, Inc., bringing together her passion for developing leaders and helping organizations navigate meaningful transformation. She later served on the Global Faculty for Ford Motor Company, delivering leadership development programs for leaders around the world. Her clients have included Ford Motor Company, Masco Corporation, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Corewell Health, Arrow Fastener, Medicare Medicaid Associates, and numerous regional, national, and global organizations.

Julie draws upon an extensive foundation of leadership and organizational development methodologies, including Gestalt Executive Coaching, the Center for Creative Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Patrick Lencioni’s team effectiveness models, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, Six Sigma, Value Engineering, Creative Problem Solving, and Deming’s quality principles. Rather than relying on a single methodology, she integrates proven approaches to meet each client’s unique leadership challenges and organizational goals.

"Julie Schell from CMP truly understands organizational change and can skillfully assist in navigating through it, no matter what your situation or objectives are. She takes the time to understand your organizational challenges and personality — and professionally facilitates putting all the appropriate pieces in motion toward becoming a high performing team."
